It’s that time of year when it seems you need Sweetened Condensed Milk in just about everything for holiday-related recipes.

When I made my Paleo Almond Joy Cookies recipe & I needed to make a dairy-free Sweetened Condensed Milk, I had to do some research. To my surprise, it was soooo easy to make. I already had all the ingredients. Why would I ever buy it again? 

I don’t know about you but I like to make my own recipes that way I can control what ingredients go in them. 

Ingredients:

Coconut Milk

Tools Needed:

Paleo Sweetened Condensed Milk is a dairy free alternative to regular sweetened condensed milk. It is AIP, Paleo & Dairy Free. Directions: 

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, bring coconut milk to a simmer.
  • Add honey
  • Simmer on low heat stirring frequently for about 30-45 min. or until the liquid has reduced by about half. Make sure to stir and scrape the bottom and sides of the pan every few minutes to prevent it from burning.
  • Pour into a glass jar.
  • Cool completely.
  • Store in refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Paleo Sweetened Condensed Milk

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, bring coconut milk to a simmer.
  2. Add honey

  4. Pour into a glass jar.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Store under refrigeration for up to 5 days.
