Another Grain I missed after going Paleo & AIP was rice. When there’s a will there is a way! Then I heard about Cauliflower Rice. Is there anything Cauliflower can’t do?
So I tried it! Wow! This is so good I will never have rice again. What’s the point? My family prefers it now & so do I. If you haven’t tried it. You need to! It’s so good!

Ingredients:
- 1 lg. organic cauliflower
- 2 Tbs. of EVOO, Ghee, or Bacon Fat (Don’t use Ghee or Bacon Fat for Vegan use EVOO or Avocado Oil)
- 1-2 Tbs. Bone Broth (if Vegan use Vegetable Broth or water)
- sea salt to taste
Optional Add-Ins:
- 1 tsp. garlic powder or 2 tsp. of minced garlic (optional) ( I use garlic in everything)
- 1 tsp. onion powder or sliced scallions
- (any herbs, fresh or dried, that you would like) optional (I like this one)
Tools Needed:
Directions:
- Cut cauliflower into large florets
- Put in Food Processor & pulse until it looks like rice or grate by hand with a hand grater
- Heat EVOO, Ghee or Fat of choice in a large pan
- Add riced cauliflower to the pan
- Add any optional add-ins above
- Saute for a couple of mins.
- Add Bone Broth
- Cover & steam for a few mins. You don’t want it to get soggy.
