AIP, Paleo, Whole 30 option, Gluten-Free, Soy Free

This AIP Paleo Asian Grilled Chicken has so much flavor & easy to make! Can’t get much better than that! Perfect for entertaining & summer grilling.

The sauce is so simple, just honey, ACV, coconut aminos, oil, a little garlic & ginger. You probably already have the ingredients in your pantry! They’re all staples in mine!

Of course, I’m lucky that my dad has beehives & I have very fresh local raw honey year-round.

Directions:

  • Put the chicken in a Ziploc bag or large bowl.
  • Mix all the other ingredients in a measuring cup and whisk until mixed thoroughly.
  • Pour over chicken and put in the refrigerator and marinate at least an hour before cooking. The longer the better, turning often to marinate both sides.
  • When ready to cook take the chicken out of the refrigerator & preheat grill.
  • When the grill is ready add chicken to grill.
  • Cook on one side until browning then flip & brown on the other side until juices are running clear. About 20 to 30 minutes.

Tip:

  • If you don’t have a grill you can bake in the oven at 400* turning until brown on both sides & juices running clear. (about 30-40 min) or you can use an indoor grill like this one
  • You can absolutely double or triple this recipe
  • For Whole 30, put all marinade ingredients except honey in a blender. Add 2-4 dates to taste & blend.

Here is a picture of some Chicken Legs I did in the oven. So Yummy! I did add sesame seeds to this one. (leave out for AIP)

This is delicious. I boiled the marinade down into a sauce. My daughter loved it and actually requested I make it again. I made the AIP version.
